You always wanted to get a medal, and one of the easiest ways to do it is to run a marathon. 

Well, to start with, I will disappoint you and say that it is not as easy as it sounds, and that in order to finish a full marathon, you might have to change your lifestyle at least 3 to 4 months prior. This involves the diet, exercising, and moving your boundaries. There will be a lot of hard work and things might get dirty, so before you continue reading, ask yourself if you have what it takes to finish a marathon. It starts with commitment

Crucial thing about every marathon is your willpower to make it. The race is long, and it just might happen to be the longest distance you ever covered. By running! So you better have a good reason behind your wish to run the marathon, otherwise you might break and quit before you finish the race. Start small

Quit drinking alcohol, smoking, eating candies or chocolate for all of these bring impending doom. You need to get your body in shape, and by doing so, train your mind to think straight. Building up stamina requires a lot of strong blood cells rich in oxygen, so eating certain veggies and drinking a lot of water might benefit you more than anything else. Once thing is for sure – you will have to get on a strict diet and maintain it.

Running a marathon is not an easy thing to do. Sacrifices will have to be made, but once you run through the finish line and hear the announcer say it, you will burst into tears of joy.
